Dear Staff of North Shore Funeral Home,
We, the family of Joseph and Ruth Kenny, would like to extend our greatest gratitude for all that you did for our family during our time of need. We appreciate all the support from your entire staff. Your transporting of our parents’ bodies from the nursing home to the funeral home was done with great care and respect. You took the time to meet with family members and go over all of the details of the funeral. All our questions were answered and we felt reassured that our parents’ final wishes were being met. Your staff handled the filing of the obituary with the Guardian Paper. You were always there, if we needed anything. During the wake, you organized and staffed the donations table and ensured that our needs were met. The day of the funeral you organized the pall bearers and flower bearers. At the church, you ensured that the bulletins were passed out and that the church pews were reserved for the family. The procession to the graveyard was handled with respect and dignity. You remembered all the little things that needed to be done, like the passing out of the roses to be laid on our parents’ caskets and the removal of statues from flowers arrangements, that we wanted to keep as a momentum. After everything was over, you presented us with the death certificates, the register book, the donation cards, the floral cards and the items we wanted removed from the caskets, before they were buried. There is so much more that goes on behind the scenes that you handle with quiet expertise. The staff of the North Shore Funeral Home, are to be commended for doing such a difficult job with such respect and compassion.
