Charles Alphonsus MacAdam

The death occurred peacefully at home in West St. Peters, surrounded by his family,  of Charles Alphonsus MacAdam, aged 82. 

Survived by his loving wife Louise (Pierlot);  his children, Alexander (Madonna House), Gregory (Julia), Daniel and Ian Paul.  He will be dearly missed by his two grandchildren, Owen and Rory; by siblings, Anna MacAdam and Jean Trainor (Joseph); his brothers and sisters-in-law, John Pierlot (Mary MacDonald), Philip Pierlot (Holly Rioux), James Pierlot (Ana Andreazza) and Teresa Pierlot.  Charles will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Thomas Pierlot, Anna Pierlot (Luke Woolston), Nicholas Pierlot (Denise Mallett), Jessica Wourms (Joe), Luke Pierlot (Erica Scott), Virginia Pierlot, Isabela Pierlot, Allan Trainor (Pam MacEwen), Kevin Trainor, Dennis Trainor, Karen Morgan, and Colin Trainor.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Matilda MacAdam, parents-in-law, Hubert and Jakoba Pierlot; and by sisters-in-law, Margaret Pierlot and Elizabeth Pierlot.

Resting at North Shore Funeral Home, Morell for visitation on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 5 – 7 p.m.  Funeral mass to be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Stewart.  Interment in the parish cemetery.

The funeral for the late Charles Alphonsus MacAdam was held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Mt Stewart , with Father Blair Bernard and Father Danny Wilson officiating. Placing  the pall were Louise MacAdam, Alexander MacAdam, Gregory MacAdam, Daniel MacAdam and Ian Paul MacAdam.  Lighting the Pascal Candle was Alexander MacAdam.   The first reading was read by Philip Pierlot while Jessica Wourms proclaimed the second reading.  Holly Pierlot offered the prayers of intercession.  The pallbearers consisted of Alexander MacAdam, Gregory MacAdam, Daniel MacAdam, Ian Paul MacAdam, Luke Pierlot, and Jason Cheeseman.    Flower Bearers were Virginia Pierlot, Jessica Wourms, and Erica Pierlot.  Everyone in attendance acted as Honorary Pallbearers.   Music was provided by Joe and Jessica Wourms singing Processional, Praise My Soul the King of Heaven: Psalm, The Hand of the Lord Feeds Me; Preparation of Gifts, Hail Mary; Communion, Dona Nobis Pacem;  Incensing, Ave Marie; and Recessional, I Saw the Light.   Interment was in the parish cemetery.  The funeral was under the direction of North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
