Pyke, Phyllis Lennie – October 13, 2023

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on October 13, 2023 of Phyllis Lennie Pyke of Charlottetown and formerly of Milburn aged 90.  Survived by her children Peter, Gahlin (Ellen), Faye (Brian), Carol, Vernon (Debbie), Audrey, Cheryl, and Scott (Marti); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; by her siblings, Sherman Sanderson, Shirley Jay, Marion Webster, Edith Martin and Mabel Daw.  She will be also dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews and by a special family friend, Sheldon Bowley.  Predeceased by her husband Vernon; her parents, William and Adella Sanderson; by her daughter-in-law, Cathy; and by twelve of her siblings.  No visitation by personal request.  There will be a private burial take place later at Marie Cemetery.  In memory of Phyllis, memorial donations to North Shore Funeral Home directly by e-transfer to northshorefuneralhome@gmail.com and would be gratefully appreciated.  We, the family, would like to thank the Doctors and nurses, especially Drs. Neily and Kiley, of the emergency department and unit 1 of the QEH, the staff of the Garden Home and to all the staff of Geneva Villa where mom resided for ten years.  We would also like to extend a  heartfelt thanks to Dr Dawn Shea …moms physician for many many years !!
