The funeral for the late Alice Jeanette Connolly was held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at St. Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Teresa, with Father Danny Wilson officiating. The first reading was read by Brenna-Mae Connolly, while Lynn MacAdam proclaimed the second reading. Lauren Coyle offered the prayers of intercession. Father Danny Wilson read the gospel and delivered the homily. The pallbearers consisted of Shamus Connolly Jr., Charles Connolly III, Scott MacLellan, Jerry Ryan, Daniel Coyle, Theo Maclellan and Jeff Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Steven Kelleher, Kane Kelleher, and Danny MacLellan. Eucharistic Minister was Anna Curran. Music was provided by director, Mary Trainor, guitarist, Arlene van Diepen, soloist, Angela MacCormac and St. Cuthbert’s Church choir singing, Processional, Be Not Afraid; Psalm, Rest in God Alone; Preparation of gifts, Isaiah 49; Communion, On This Day O’ Beautiful Mother; Meditation, Hail Mary, Gentle Woman; Incensing, Songs of the Angels; and Recessional, How Great Thou Art. Interment was in the parish cemetery. The funeral was under the direction of North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
